Paul Miller Lamborghini Dominates GTD at Lime Rock

Paul Miller Racing has claimed GT Daytona class honors in Saturday’s Northeast Grand Prix at Lime Rock Park, in a dominant performance for Bryan Sellers and Madison Snow.

Snow took the No. 48 Lamborghini Huracan GT3 to a 18.614-second win over the No. 44 Magnus Racing Audi R8 LMS of Andy Lally, who charged from the rear of the ten-car field to finish second.

While the class pole-sitting No. 58 Wright Motorsports Porsche 911 GT3 R of Patrick Long led early, Sellers took over the lead early in the second hour following a three-stop strategy for the No. 15 3GT Racing Lexus RC F GT3 that briefly put Jack Hawksworth out front.

As the Lexus entries and the No. 58 Porsche faded, the Paul Miller Lamborghini held strong, with Snow and Sellers claiming their second IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship victory of the season.

It also saw the duo extend their championship lead over Katherine Legge, who finished fourth on Saturday in the No. 86 Meyer Shank Racing Acura NSX GT3.

Legge struggled early but saw her race turn around following a closing stint by co-driver Alvaro Parnete, who got the Acura up to as high as third but lost the final podium position to the No. 63 Scuderia Corsa Ferrari 488 GT3 of Gunnar Jeannette.

Jeannette, who spun the WeatherTech-backed Ferrari in Turn 1 from the class lead while owing a pit stop, charged back through the field and passed Parente the position with four minutes to go.

Lally’s second place finish, meanwhile, came after brake issues for co-driver John Potter early in the two-hour and 40-minute race, which featured only a single full course caution.

The No. 15 3GT Lexus of Hawksworth and super sub Mario Farnbacher finished fourth, with the No. 33 Riley Mercedes-AMG GT3 of Jeroen Bleekemolen and Ben Keating completing the top-five in class.

Patrick Long was eighth at the line after a suspected issue to his Porsche, which showed strong pace in the first half of the race, including from co-driver Christina Nielsen, who ran second during her stint.
