Stevenson Motorsports has confirmed six of its eight drivers for the Rolex 24 at Daytona, with two additional drivers set to test this weekend but not yet confirmed for the race.

As anticipated, Stevenson’s full-season No. 9 car pairing of Matt Bell and Lawson Aschenbach will join Andrew Davis and Robin Liddell in the team’s No. 6 Audi R8 LMS for both the Roar Before the Rolex 24 test and the Rolex 24 itself.

Meanwhile the No. 9 car will take on a new livery, with support from SunEnergy1 and Boris Said and Kenny Habul confirmed for the race.

Audi veteran Dion von Moltke and IndyCar/sports car veteran Tristan Vautier will join Said and Habul for the test this weekend.

Von Moltke, previously with Paul Miller Racing, has driven the previous generation Audi R8 LMS with four different teams (APR Motorsport, Alex Job Racing, Flying Lizard Motorsports and PMR) at least one race in each of the last four seasons.

“There is a lot that will be new for us, and for everyone, for the 2016 season,” said Stevenson Motorsports team manager Mike Johnson.

“But we are definitely more than ready. We have two cars, but we operate as one big team, both at the shop and during the race weekends. That approach should help us get comfortable with this new Audi R8 LMS quickly.”
