Dempsey/Wright Motorsports will run in the classic Brumos Racing colors for the opening two rounds of the Tequila Patron North American Endurance Cup at Daytona and Sebring.

Additionally, the team has confirmed Austrian Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup ace Phillip Eng as fourth driver of the No. 58 Porsche 911 GT America, along with previously announced Jan Heylen, Madison Snow and Patrick Dempsey.

Eng is Gold-rated; Snow (Silver) and Dempsey (Bronze) complete the car to the regulations.

Eng made his TUDOR United SportsCar Championship debut at Petit Le Mans last year with GB Autosport, co-driving with Damien Faulkner and Ben Barker. This will mark his Rolex 24 debut.

“Porsche introduced me to John Wright and he gave me the chance to do my first Rolex 24 with Porsche,” Eng said. “I really hope that it will be as successful as my 2014 season. Being part of such a great team with very fast teammates is phenomenal!”

As for the livery, it came about via a joint marketing partnership announced today by Dempsey/Wright Motorsports and the Jacksonville, Fla.-based company.

Hurley Haywood, Brumos Automotive vice president, served as an consultant for Dempsey Racing at Patron Endurnace Cup rounds in 2014. The team itself last raced at the end of 2013.

“John Wright is a class act,” Haywood said. “The Rolex 24 at Daytona and the Twelve Hours of Sebring make a smart pairing with Dempsey/Wright Motorsports for Brumos, and I’m excited to be a part of it.”
