Ho-Pin Tung will complete OAK Racing’s driver lineup in the TUDOR United SportsCar Championship, it was announced Tuesday.

The 31-year-old Chinese driver, who helped take the French squad to the Asian Le Mans Series championship last year, will join Olivier Pla and Alex Brundle as co-drivers to OAK’s season-long driver, Gustavo Yacman, in the No. 42 Morgan-Nissan entry.

Tung is slated to contest three TUDOR Championship events, with both Pla and Brundle each set for five additional rounds at the wheel of the Onroak Automotive-designed prototype, which finished sixth in class in last month’s season-opening Rolex 24 at Daytona.

“I am very happy to share this American experience with these four brilliant drivers,” said team principal Philippe Dumas.  “I am sure we will share some great times together and raise the colors of our Onroak Automotive chassis and France at the same time.

“Our performance in Daytona did not go unnoticed by those who count, and we intend to do even better during this second legendary race, Sebring.”
