The TUDOR United SportsCar Championship will have reduced race lengths for five of its events next year, IMSA confirmed on Friday.

Events at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park, Road America, Virginia International Raceway and Circuit of The Americas have been trimmed down to 2 hour and 40-minute races, instead of the previous traditional 2 hour and 45-minute format.

Additionally, the new Prototype Challenge/GT Daytona-only event at Lime Rock Park in July has been confirmed as a two-hour race, the same length as the split Prototype/GT Le Mans and PC/GTD doubleheader at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca.

All four of the Tequila Patron North American Endurance Cup events (Daytona 24H; Sebring 12H, Watkins Glen 6H, Petit Le Mans 10H) remain unchanged, while both street races at Long Beach and Detroit will be 100-minute events, as was the case this year.
