AF Corse Ferrari 488 GTE Evos Break Cover

Ferrari unveils revised colors for AF Corse-run Ferrari 488 GTE Evos…

Ferrari has taken the wraps off its revised liveries for the FIA World Endurance Championship season, in the Italian manufacturer’s title defense in GTE-Pro.

The pair of AF Corse-run Ferrari 488 GTE Evos completed a shakedown at Fiorano this week, sporting a slightly different red that was used last year to celebrate Ferrari’s 70th anniversary.

A new shade of metallic red is now on the Nos. 51 and 71 Ferraris, which will be driven by the unchanged lineup of James Calado/Alessandro Pier Guidi and Sam Bird/Davide Rigon.

Calado and Pier Guidi took the No. 51 car to the GT World Championship last year, scoring three class wins, with Rigon and Bird combining for an additional two victories.

The team’s third drivers for the 24 Hours of Le Mans, as well as the lineup for its third entry in the race, have yet to be announced, although both Miguel Molina and Toni Vilander are expected to be part of the effort.
