Dr. Wolfgang Ullrich’s Audi Career in Pictures

A look back at key moments in Dr. Wolfgang Ullrich’s

After nearly 25 years with Audi, and helping deliver 13 overall victories in the 24 Hours of Le Mans, countless sports car and touring car championships and the launch of Audi Sport customer racing, Dr. Wolfgang Ullrich has officially gone into retirement.

Ullrich’s career was celebrated in a large farewell party at Audi Sport’s headquarters in Neuburg last week, with more than 300 former colleagues and associates in attendance to honor his leadership and success with the German manufacturer.

While Ullrich’s deputy, Dieter Gass, took over as Head of Audi Motorsport this year, the 67-year-old remained on board through the transition period, having attended multiple races, including his final event with Audi, at the FIA Formula E Championship season-opener in Hong Kong earlier this month.
