Endurance-Info has learned that Tracy Krohn, Andrea Bertolini and Nic Jonsson will drive the Eurasia-entered Ligier JS P217 Gibson, in a switch of class for the American-backed entity.

Krohn’s original Le Mans entry, a Ferrari 488 GTE competing in GTE-Am, was placed sixth on the reserve entry list and so was unlikely to secure a place on the grid for the race, which takes place on June 16-17.

Eurasia received an entry invite as part of the 20-strong LMP2 field and originally listed Marko Asmer as its nominated driver.

It’s understood the team will largely be comprised of Eursaia’s mechanics, with technical support from AF Corse.

Krohn and Jonsson drove the Ferrari with Bertolini at Le Mans last year but entered a Ligier JS P2 Nissan in the 2016 race with Joao Barbosa.

It will mark the longtime pairing’s 13th consecutive Le Mans appearance.
