Manor will run a second Ginetta G60-LT-P1 under its CEFC TRSM Racing banner with the first drivers announced in both cars.

The confirmation of the team’s second car came at the ACO’s press conference on Friday in which the entry lists for the FIA World Endurance Championship and 24 Hours of Le Mans were released.

Manor has had one Ginetta LMP1 car confirmed for several months with plans to run a second car.

Oliver Rowland will drive the first car while Ginetta development driver Charlie Robertson is the first driver announced in the second entry.

Ginetta has two LMP1 entries in the ten-strong class, despite initial targets to have a total of six entries on the grid for the 2018/19 ‘Super Season’.

Manor has shelved plans to continue its LMP2 program in addition to its step up to the top class, meanwhile.

“I’m delighted [to] confirm that CEFC TRSM Racing will be running a two-car effort in the FIA WEC and Le Mans 24 Hours,” said Ginetta chairman Lawrence Tomlinson.

“Our LMP1 project has brought together some of the brightest stars in motorsport design and engineering, and the next chapter will see CEFC TRSM Racing announcing driving talent of equally high measure.

“Personally, I am delighted to see Charlie Robertson’s name on the entry list.

“We have taken him from a 14-year-old experiencing his very first car race in the Ginetta Junior Championship, all the way to the pinnacle of international motorsport, and that’s something we strive to do for every one of our drivers.”
