TRG-AMR has finalized the lineup for its first Aston Martin Vantage GT3 entry in next year’s TUDOR United SportsCar Championship, with Al Carter and David Block joining James Davison in the GT Daytona entry in 2014.

Continental Tire SportsCar Challenge veteran Carter will team with open-wheel turned sports car driver Davison for the full 11-round TUDOR Championship, with Porsche club racer Block set to contest the four North American Endurance Cup rounds alongside the duo.

“Having some previous opportunities to run some one-off races with Kevin Buckler and TRG previously in ALMS, all we did was run up front and scored some podiums, along with my only professional win,” Carter said.”The 2014 GTD class is stacked with competitive cars, drivers and teams, and I think our TRG Aston Martin will be right there.”

Block added: “This is a life long dream and goal being realized, after a lot of hard work, diligent preparation and training, which could not have come together without the continuous efforts of Kevin. I am eagerly awaiting the start of 2014 at the Roar, in preparation for the 24.”

Tuesday’s news came on the heels of the confirmation of Davison, which will see the 27-year-old U.S.-based Australian make his full-time sports car debut in the V12-powered beast.

“I could not be more excited about our announcement today,” Buckler said. “It was nearly one year ago when we started this program and so much has happened. We are now ready to step into the big ring in the TUDOR United SportsCar Championship and we have assembled a winning team.”

TRG-AMR submitted two full-season entries for the GTD class, which is believed to have reached close to 30 entry requests.
