Circuit Gilles Villeneuve will play host to Porsche Deluxe Carrera Cup North America for the first time next year, as part of an expanded calendar supporting Formula 1 races.

Announced on Monday, the eight-event schedule features races on both F1 and IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship weekends, as well as the launch of the new ANDIAL Cup, an additional award for competitors racing at the iconic IMSA road courses.

ANDIAL Cup tracks include Sebring International Raceway, Watkins Glen International, Road America, Indianapolis Motor Speedway and Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta.

The season will kick off at Sebring in March followed by a return to the Miami International Autodrome for Rounds 3 and 4 with F1. It will then feature a trip north of the border to Montreal, also with F1, prior to Watkins Glen later in June.

Road America and Indianapolis Motor Speedway will be next up, followed by a return to Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta after a one-year hiatus.

The season will again close at Circuit of The Americas on the backdrop of the U.S. Formula 1 Grand Prix.

Among the venues not returning for 2024 include Long Beach and WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca.

“Each year, we focus on ways to improve the experience and exposure of the Porsche Carrera Cup in North America for our customer teams, drivers and partners,” said Porsche Motorsport North America President and CEO Volker Holzmeyer.

“Having been on the sharp edge of the sport since 2021, this becomes more and more challenging each year. Taking into consideration the feedback of our stakeholders, we explored and have created what we feel is our most dynamic calendar.

“We have worked to be on the center stage of the biggest race events on the continent.

“Returning to Canada was important and doing so with the Grand Prix du Canada places us at the epicenter of motorsport, Formula One, three times next season.

“Balancing this with five rounds at the most popular venues on the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship gives us the best way to highlight our drivers, teams and product in the sport today.”
