The Porsche 911 RSR-19 has received a further weight break for the second time in the last three races, in the latest round of Balance of Performance adjustments confirmed by IMSA.

The WeatherTech Racing GT Le Mans entry will now be at a minimum weight of 1275 kg, a further 20 kg decrease compared to last week’s WeatherTech 240 at Watkins Glen International.

It comes after the car was given an initial 10 kg reduction prior to the Sahlen’s Six Hours of The Glen two weeks ago.

Its only competitor for next weekend’s Northeast Grand Prix, the Chevrolet Corvette C8.R, meanwhile, has been handed a 10 kg weight increase, bringing the mid-engined Corvette’s minimum weight up to 1290 kg.

No other BoP changes have been made ahead of the GT-only contest at Lime Rock Park.
