Date Set for 2016 Dubai 24H

With this year’s around-the-clock enduro in the books, the date for the 2016 running of the Hankook 24 Hours of Dubai has been revealed.

24H Series organizers Creventic confirmed the 11th running of the race will take place on Jan. 15-16, 2016, one week later than its traditional date on the second week of January.

It’s understood the move was to provide competitors additional time during the holiday season, the same reason this year’s Roar Before the Rolex 24 was moved back one week, and subsequently clashing with the Dubai event.

No word has been given on the date for the TUDOR United SportsCar Championship pre-season test and whether Creventic’s change would avoid a clash.
