Herberth Motorsport has claimed victory in the Hankook 24 Hours of Paul Ricard, giving Porsche its first 24-hour race victory for the new 911 GT3 R.

The German squad took a commanding 14-lap win in its No. 911 Porsche with drivers Alfred Renauer, Robert Renauer, Daniel Alleman and Ralf Bohn, having taken over the lead early in the twice-around-the-clock French enduro.

It marked back-to-back 24H Series victories for Herberth, after taking top honors at the 12 Hours of Zandvoort in May.

The No. 30 Ram Racing Mercedes-AMG GT3 of Stuart Hall, Roald Goethe, Daniel Brown and Jamie Campbell-Walter, sporting a Gulf livery for the first time, finished second overall, with the No. 10 Hofor Racing Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT3 completing the overall podium and taking A6-Am class honors.

Porsche Lorient Racing claimed top honors in SP2 with its Porsche 991 Cup car, while HRT Performance was the highest-placed Porsche in the 991 class.

SP3 class honors went to the No. 236 ALFAB Racing Porsche Cayman GT4 Clubsport, in what proved to be a dominant race for the German manufacturer in multiple categories.
