Manthey Porsche Quickest in FP2

Manthey Racing led the way in the second and final Free Practice session prior to qualifying for Friday’s Hankook 24 Hours of Dubai.

Matteo Cairoli laid down a best lap of 1:59.095 in the two-hour session, edging out the No. 14 Optimum Motorsport Audi R8 LMS by 0.225 seconds.

Cairoli’s time was slower than Mirko Bottolotti’s 1:58.306 set in FP1.

The No. 964 Grasser Racing Team Lamborghini Huracan GT3 was third quickest in the afternoon session, with the No. 7 HB Racing Lamborghini and No. 2 Black Falcon Mercedes-AMG GT3 completing the top-five overall.

No major incidents were reported during the session.

Qualifying for A6 class cars gets underway at 5:15 p.m. local time.
