SX Team Schubert led the way in the second and final practice prior to qualifying for Friday’s Dunlop 24 Hours of Dubai.

BMW factory driver Dirk Werner topped the time charts, posting a 2:00.081 lap time late in the 90-minute session.

In addition to Werner, the No. 76 BMW Z4 GT3 is being driven this week by Americans Bill Auberlen, Dane Cameron and Canadian Paul Dalla Lana.

The No. 7 Craft-AMR Aston Martin Vantage GT3 wound up second, with a fast time from Stefan Muecke only 0.026 seconds slower than his countryman.

A 2:00.214 lap set early in the session by American Porsche Junior driver Connor De Phillippi was good enough to put the No. 4 Fach Auto Tech Porsche 997 GT3 R third in the session.

The No. 15 AF Racing International Lamborghini of Matheus Svoboda slammed into a wall and brought out a red flag roughly halfway through the session.

No other major incidents were reported.

Qualifying gets underway at 3 p.m. local.
