Creventic has revealed a six-race schedule for its year as promoter of the TCR Middle East Series, held over two consecutive weekends in January 2020.

Three 30-minute races will be held on each weekend, with the opening rounds at Dubai Autodrome on Jan. 9-11 and the remaining races held at Abu Dhabi’s Yas Marina Circuit on Jan. 16-17.

The Dubai races will form part of the support package for the Hankook 24 Hours of Dubai, Creventic’s flagship event that will also include a large contingent of TCR machinery.

Competitors will also be able to enter the TCR Asia round at Sepang International Circuit on Feb. 15-16 as part of a tie-up between Creventic and the Asian regional championship.

The Malaysian round won’t pay points for TCR Middle East teams, however.

Both TCR Middle East weekends include an optional private test with two or three hours of track time, a 30-minute Free Practice session, a 30-minute qualifying session and three races with standing starts.

Qualifying determines positions for Race 1 while the top ten from qualifying will be reversed to decide the Race 2 grid. The grid for Race 3 will be determined by the classification from Race 1.

Teams have the option to run up to three drivers each weekend, with different pilots for each race.

The entry fee of €12,750 ($14,210) includes transport of cars and equipment from all over the world to Dubai and back, transport within the UAE, all fuel, use of pit box or structure, 20 event passes and more.
