Bove, Cindric Raise Over $13,500 for Charity at Mid-Ohio

Pirelli World Challenge President/CEO Scott Bove and rising young American racer Austin Cindric raised over $13,000 this past weekend at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course for the Special Operations Warrior Foundation.

Bove and Cindric raced the No. 55 Special Operations Warrior Foundation Ford Mustang Boss 302S in the GTS class of the Pirelli World Challenge.

Bove raced in Saturday’s Round 11, while Cindric raced in Sunday’s Round 12. A total of $13,555 was raised through pledges in the form of either flat donations or donations made for positions gained. Bove gained five positions in Saturday’s race, while Cindric gained eight positions in Sunday’s race.

The Special Operations Warrior Foundation (SOWF) is a four-star rated charity organization that supports the military’s special operations forces and their families through three programs: College Scholarships for the surviving children of fallen Special Operations Forces; Family Services, including educational & family counseling and advocacy support; and Wounded Special Operations Forces Support, including immediate financial stipends of $3,000.
