Alvaro Parente topped the time charts in the one-and-only practice session for this afternoon’s Pirelli World Challenge round at Lime Rock Park.

The McLaren GT factory driver took his No. 9 K-PAX Racing McLaren 650S GT3 to a quick lap of 52.159 seconds in the 40-minute session.

He edged out the No. 3 Cadillac ATS-V.R of Johnny O’Connell by 0.095 seconds. The four-time and defending PWC champion made a late improvement on stickers after being outside of the top-10 for the majority of the session.

The No. 87 Bentley Team Absolute Bentley Continental GT3 of Andrew Palmer was third, with teammate Adderly Fong and points leader Patrick Long, who swept the weekend at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park, completing the top-five.

Ryan Eversley, who is driving Peter Cunningham’s RealTime Acura TLX GT this weekend, was sixth.

Martin Fuentes led the way in GTA, posting the 15th quickest time overall in his No. 07 Scuderia Corsa Ferrari 458 Italia GT.

Fuentes edged out CTMP winner Michael Schein by 0.049 seconds, with Frankie Montecalvo’s No. 66 DIME Racing Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT3 in third.

Sloan Urry, meanwhile, was quickest in GT Cup, peddling his No. 20 GMG Racing Porsche 911 GT3 Cup car to a best la of 54.859 seconds. He was the only GT Cup driver to break the 54-second barrier.

The session saw a single red flag early for an incident with an unidentified car in Turn 7. The No. 77 Calvert Dynamics Porsche of Preston Calvert only completed three laps.

Qualifying is next up at 2:05 p.m. ET.
