***Jesse Krohn is the latest addition in the season-long game of musical chairs with BMW factory drivers over at ROWE Racing. The Finnish BMW Junior will compete in the No. 98 BMW M6 GT3 with Stef Dusseldorp this weekend, who raced alongside fellow countryman Nick Catsburg in the opening round at Misano. Krohn’s main program is in the ADAC GT Masters this season.

***Maxime Martin is also set to join ROWE later this season in the Endurance Cup, most notably in the Total 24 Hours of Spa. The Belgian DTM driver already made a one-off appearance in the series at Misano behind the wheel of the Boutsen Ginion M6 GT3.

***Marco Mapelli has replaced Jack Falla in the No. 77 Attempto Racing Lamborghini Huracán GT3. The Audi driver will race alongside Platinum-rated Davide Valsecchi this weekend. Falla crashed the No. 77 car during the warm-up session at Misano, prohibiting the car from taking part in the Main Race.

***Boutsen Ginion Racing originally planned to enter its BMW M6 GT3 at Brand Hatch this weekend, but in the end the Belgian squad switched to the GT Sports Club. Karim Ojjeh will pilot the car in the championship reserved for Bronze-rated drivers.

***AF Corse took over Boutsen Ginion’s spot on the grid, with Stéphane Lémeret and Claudio Sdanewitsch set to take the wheel of the Ferrari 458 Italia GT3 again. The No. 55 car is the sole entrant in the Am Cup this weekend.

***An impressive grid and good weather resulted in a good crowd at Monza on race day, which saw 22,000 people attending the race.

***With 37 entries, the Blancpain GT Series Sprint Cup has reached the maximum pit lane capacity for the Brands Hatch circuit. Not only are all the pit boxes occupied, a tent was installed near pit entry to accommodate the No. 11 Kessel Racing Ferrari 488 GT3 and No. 101 Attempto Racing Lamborghini Huracán GT3. Click here to download the latest version of the entry list.

***In what was only its fourth race ever, the brand new Corvette C7 GT3-R scored a first win in the hands of Daniel Keilwitz and Jules Gounon last weekend. The duo piloted the privately developed Callaway Competition car to victory in the Sunday race of the ADAC GT Masters round at the Sachsenring.

***The Corvette C7 GT3-R is also scheduled to do two VLN races later this season. It is unclear yet at which rounds the car will compete, though it is expected to be after the 24-hour race in May.

***The Blancpain GT Sports Club is down to 20 this weekend after 27 in Misano. Six manufacturers and nine different models are set to do battle around the fast nine-turn, 3.916km-long former Grand Prix track. Click Here for entry list.

***Brands Hatch is also the venue for the first Blancpain Ultracar Sports Club meeting. Six McLaren P1 and P1 GTRs, two Aston Martin Vulcans, a Ferrari LaFerrari, Pagani Zonda S, Rimac Concept One and Pagani Huayra Pacchetto Tempesta headline the entry list. The ‘ultra’ cars will run four 30-minute sessions split equally between Saturday and Sunday.
