The Blancpain Sprint Series title decider at Zandvoort will feature a 16-car gird, with the addition of Jeroen Bleekemolen, Frédéric Vervisch and a yet to be confirmed sub for Laurens Vanthoor.

The number of entrants has dropped back to 16 after the one-off appearance of the factory GRT Lamborghini squad at Misano, but as things get serious for the title, a couple of drivers will bolster the high quality grid in Holland.

ENTRY LIST: Zandvoort

Bleekemolen makes his return to Blancpain GT racing after an absence of almost an entire year. He replaces Marco Seefried in the Rinaldi Racing Ferrari 458 Italia, with the German competing in FIA WEC Six Hours of Fuji this weekend.

Local hero Bleekemolen will try to help Norbert Siedler close a 17-point gap to series’ leader Robin Frijns, in an effort to secure the drivers’ title.

Meanwhile, Maxi Buhk and Vincent Abril are only eight-points adrift in the No. 84 Bentley Team HTP Continental GT3 and are looking to capitalize on the changes at WRT.

After Laurens Vanthoor’s massive impact at Misano last Saturday, the Belgian Audi squad managed to source a new Audi R8 LMS ultra for the championship leader.

However, it’s not clear yet who will team up with Frijns in the No. 1 Belgian Audi Club Team WRT car, though a high-caliber Audi factory driver is expected.

Frédéric Vervisch is another new addition to the grid, with the quick Belgian filling in for his fellow countryman Enzo Ide in the No. 2 WRT Audi.

The second ISR-run Audi of the Fjordbach twins remains in the series, though Michael Markussen replaces Thomas Fjordbach in the Silver Cup-entered car.
