Christopher Haase and Sainteloc Racing have set the pace in Thursday’s Free Practice for the Total 24 Hours of Spa, leading an Audi 1-2-3-4 in mixed conditions.

The Audi factory driver reeled off a best lap of 2:21.622 in the No. 26 Audi R8 LMS late in the 90-minute session, which started on a wet track before drying out for the final 30 minutes.

Haase’s time was a considerable 1.227 seconds quicker than the No. 6 Audi Sport Team Phoenix Audi R8 LMS of Frank Stippler, who also made a late-session improvement.

Sainteloc topped all three classes in the session, with Marco Bonanomi quickest in Pro-Am with a 2:23.251 lap time in the No. 25 Audi that was good enough for third quickest overall, while the team’s No. 27 car led the Am Cup.

Bertrand Baguette, a late addition to the No. 4 Belgian Audi Club Team WRT Audi, and the No. 84 AMG – Team HTP Mercedes-AMG GT3 of Maxi Buhk completed the top-five overall.

The session came to a premature end with 2 minutes left on the clock when the No. 59 Garage 59 McLaren 650S GT3 of Andrew Watson stopped on track at Raidillon.

It came nearly 15 minutes after the first red flag, due to curbing issues at Les Combes.

The only notable incident came in the pits, with a flash fire for the No. 51 AF Corse Ferrari 488 GT3, which later rejoined.

Pre-Qualifying is set to get underway at 5:45 p.m. local time.

RESULTS: Free Practice
