Team Zakspeed has confirmed the lineup for its Blancpain GT Series Endurance Cup program, as the German team will enter a Mercedes-AMG GT3 in the Pro Cup.

As previously reported by Sportscar365, former IndyCar driver Alex Tagliani and fellow countryman Jean-Frédéric Laberge will be two of the drivers.

They are joined by reigning GT Asia champion Darryl O’Young in the Pro Cup.

“We have a great car with outstanding drivers and I am sure we will be in for one or two surprises this year,” said team owner Peter Zakowski.

“The Blancpain Series is still pretty new to us, but I am confident we will all start working well together, making good progress.”

The first roll-out with the new Mercedes-AMG GT3 took place at the official test days at the French circuit of Paul Ricard today.

The yellow livery (pictured above) will not race in the Blancpain Endurance Cup, but will be seen in the VLN series and Nüburgring 24.
