Strakka Racing has signed Mercedes-AMG DTM reserve driver Christian Vietoris to compete in its third and final Blancpain GT Series Endurance Cup lineup.

The German will drive one of the team’s three Mercedes-AMG GT3s with Adrien Tambey and David Fumanelli, beginning in next weekend’s three-hour race at Monza.

Strakka will also run a car for Maximilian Goetz, Maximilian Buhk and Alvaro Parente in the Pro Cup along with a Pro-Am entry for Nick Leventis, Lewis Williamson and Chris Buncombe.

“I’m excited to be joining Strakka Racing for the season competing in the Blancpain GT Series Endurance Cup campaign in the Mercedes-AMG GT3 car,” said Vietoris.

“I believe we have great potential on track and I’m determined to give it all I’ve got.”

Added Jay Davenport, Strakka Racing Director: “We are delighted to have secured Christian to drive for us in the Blancpain GT Series Endurance Cup.

“Along with Adrien and David, we feel this makes a formidable line up capable of running at the front. Our aim for Monza is to be the top Mercedes team in both Pro and Pro-Am.”
