Alegra Motorsports led the way in Friday’s one-and-only practice session for Pirelli World Challenge GT SprintX competitors at Lime Rock Park.

The No. 24 Porsche 911 GT3 R of Michael Christensen and Spencer Pumpelly recorded a best time of 52.071 seconds, edging out the No. 61 R. Ferri Motorsport Ferrari 488 GT3 of Toni Vilander and Miguel Molina by 0.090 seconds.

Daniel Morad, fresh off victory in last weekend’s Sprint round at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park, and PWC debutant Raffaele Marciello were third quickest in the No. 2 CRP Racing Mercedes-AMG GT3, ahead of the GT3 Pro-Am class-leading No. 31 TR3 Racing Ferrari of Jeff Segal and Wei Lu.

The No. 80 Lone Star Racing Mercedes completed the top-five overall in the 55-minute session.

The only red flag of the session was for the No. 07 Scuderia Garage Italia Ferrari of Martin Fuentes, who stopped on track with less than 20 minutes left on the clock.

Practice 2 for GT SprintX competitors is scheduled for Saturday at 11:45 a.m. EDT.
