George Kurtz and Colin Braun will return to the wheel of a DXDT Racing-run Mercedes-AMG GT3 Evo for the second straight year in GT World Challenge America powered by AWS, with CrowdStrike set for an increased presence in the SRO America paddock.

The Pro-Am class pairing will run for overall honors in the new-look series, which has seen the elimination of all-pro lineups for 2020.

“We learned a lot during the past year,” Kurtz said. “We are both eager to compete again for race wins and championships together in the CrowdStrike/AWS Mercedes-AMG GT3.

“This stands to be the most notable season yet for CrowdStrike Racing with our involvement on the competition and commercial sides.

“As always, we strive to make a maximum impact for our team, our partners and our guests.”

Kurtz and Braun will race the new-for-2020 Mercedes Evo, which made its SRO debut in the Intercontinental GT Challenge powered by Pirelli season-opening Liqui-Moly Bathurst 12 Hour earlier this month.

“George and I have great chemistry and I am looking forward to co-driving with him again,” Braun said.

“As a team, we learned a lot last year, and I think in our second year with DXDT and the Mercedes-AMG GT3 we will be in a great position to compete for wins and a championship especially with the update Mercedes brings to the car.

“We have an excellent team and I’m looking forward to getting the season started.”

Moses Moves to TC America with CrowdStrike Honda TCR Entry

CrowdStrike, which continues its involvement as the “Official Internet and Cloud Security Provider” of SRO America, will expand its involvement to also include sponsorship of a TCR entry for CJ Moses.

DXDT will also operate the No. 04 CrowdStrike/AWS Honda Civic Type-R TCR.

It will mark Moses’ second season of top-level road racing after contesting selected Pirelli GT4 America rounds in a GMG Racing-run Audi R8 LMS GT4 in 2019.

Moses, the deputy CISO for AWS, got his first taste of TCR racing in the recent SRO Winter Series at The Thermal Club, claiming class wins in two races.

“Racing the Honda TCR car feels like coming home since I’ve driven Touring cars for most of my racing career,” he said. “The car is a joy to drive and shows great potential for the season.

“This will be a great way to expand and showcase the CrowdStrike and AWS brands as leaders both on the racetrack and professionally with our hospitality and activation programs.”

CXO Summits to Continue

CrowdStrike and AWS will be enhancing its marketing activation and guest hospitality efforts for the fourth consecutive season in the SRO America paddock.

CrowdStrike’s “executive road show” of CXO Summits, sponsored by AWS, will bring together executive-thought leaders as weekend guests to discuss emerging trends in Internet and cloud cybersecurity.
