With the GT manufacturers’ championship on the line, Cadillac Racing’s Andy Pilgrim ended up quickest in Saturday morning’s warmup session ahead of this afternoon’s Pirelli World Challenge season finale at Miller Motorsports Park.

Pilgram reeled off a best lap of 1:50.251 in his No. 8 Cadillac CTS-V.R, outpacing the No. 31 EFFORT Racing Porsche 911 GT3 R of Ryan Dalziel by 0.169 seconds.

Alex Figge (K-PAX Racing McLaren), Andy Lee (Reiter Lamborghini) and GT champion-elect Johnny O’Connell (Cadillac) completed the top-five in the 25-minute session, which ran without incident.

Friday’s race winner, Guy Smith, was sixth quickest in the No. 88 Dyson Racing Team Bentley Continental GT3.

Tim Pappas (Black Swan Racing Mercedes) led the way in GT-A, while Mark Wilkins rebounded from yesterday’s start-line accident to go quickest in GTS.

Wilkins heads into today’s final round with only a 2-point lead over Blackdog Racing’s Lawson Aschenbach.

Round 16 gets underway at 2:15 p.m. MT, with live coverage on World-ChallengeTV.com.
