Just a few days after the event at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park, Pirelli World Challenge teams are back in action this weekend at Lime Rock Park for the Memorial Day weekend event.

The entry list for the two-day event has been released, featuring a similar mix of cars that were North of the Border last weekend.

ENTRY LIST: Lime Rock Park

The pair of GT/GTA/GT Cup races will host a total of 24 competitors, with a further 16 entries in GTS.

One change has been made to the GT class, with James Sofronas listed to return with his GMG Racing Porsche 911 GT3 R. He missed the last two race weekends, at CTMP and Barber Motorsports Park, although Brent Holden drove the car in Canada.

Furthermore, there are questions regarding Ryan Eversley’s entry. His Acura TLX GT was severely damaged in accident last weekend and has been ruled out for this weekend.

RealTime Racing is evaluating alternative plans for Lime Rock, which is believed to see the team only enter a single TLX GT.

“Looks like my No. 43 is beyond repairable for Lime Rock next week,” Eversley wrote on Twitter. “We’ll have to regroup and see what our options are.”

Patrick Long provisionally heads into the weekend as the GT championship leader, after sweeping the CTMP round.

The GTA field has been reduced to a four-car entry, following the one-off appearance by the Turner Motorsport BMW M6 GT3 of Bret Curtis and Holden’s entry moving back to GT with Sofronas.

This leaves Jorge De La Torre, Michael Schein, Frankie Montecalvo and Martin Fuentes in the category.

GT Cup will also now see a four-car entry, after Chris Green’s one-off appearance in Canada in his Pfaff Motorsports Porsche 911 GT3 Cup car.

Alec Udell, Sloan Urry, Preston Calvert and Corey Fergus will race the four Porsche 911 GT3 Cups at Lime Rock.

Udell took over the points lead from Urry in Canada, thanks to his win in Race 1 and runner-up finish in Race 2.

It was announced on Monday that the track will include the chicane layout, after concerns over the cars’ speed at Uphill on the standard circuit layout.

A number of teams are testing at Lime Rock today, ahead of official track action, which gets underway on Friday. There are two races apiece for GT/GTA/GT Cup and GTS on Friday and Saturday.
