Based on the growth of viewership for the Series’ inaugural 2014 live stream race from St. Petersburg on world-challengetv.com, the Pirelli World Challenge announced today a five-fold increase in server capacity for their upcoming race at Long Beach, the Roar By the Shore presented by Kia, as part of the Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach weekend.

“This past Sunday during our St. Petersburg race we experienced a tripling of our live stream viewership,” noted Greg Gill Pirelli World Challenge Vice President, Marketing and Communications.

“Regretfully some of our fans wanting to watch the live stream were unable to access the race. For that we offer our sincere apologies. We have increased our server capacity five-fold for the live stream coverage of our next race at Long Beach, April 13th.”
