RealTime Racing will return to its roots this weekend, with a retro livery on its Acura NSX GT3 Evo in its Blancpain GT World Challenge America comeback.

The longtime World Challenge entrant will make its first GT3 start since 2017 this weekend at Virginia International Raceway, with a Pro-Am class entry to be driven by Dane Cameron and Bret Curtis.

The orange and white design is reminiscent of the design team owner Peter Cunningham campaigned on his previous-generation Acura NSXs in the early 2000s.

While being a brand-new chassis, RealTime’s pair of then-factory backed Acuras sported a near identical livery in the inaugural running of the California 8 Hours in 2017, in what was the team’s last GT3 race.

More recently, the team won the 2018 TC America TCR drivers’ championship with Ryan Eversley, although has not returned to the touring car ranks this year.
