Risi Competizione Leads Utah Practice 2

Risi Competizione ended PWC GT Practice 2 on top of the time sheets…

Risi Competizione topped Pirelli World Challenge GT Practice 2 at Utah Motorsports Campus in the team’s return to the championship after a lengthy absence.

The No. 82 Ferrari 488 GT3, driven this weekend by the Pro-Am class lineup of Pierre Mulacek and Anthony Lazzaro, set the pace in hot conditions that saw the track temperature soar to 131 degrees Fahrenheit.

A pair of other Prancing Horses were close behind, with the Am class No. 07 Squadra Corse Garage Italia entry of Martin Fuentes and Caeser Bacarella in second and the No. 31 TR3 Racing machine of Jeff Segal and Wei Lu in third.

Dream Racing Motorsport checked in in fourth with Yuki Harata and Alessandro Bressan in the No. 55 Lamborghini Huracan GT3.

All four finished ahead of the first Pro class car, the No. 96 Pfaff Motorsports Porsche 911 GT3 R of Scott Hargrove and Wolf Henzler, which clocked the fifth fastest overall time.

There were no stoppages in the hour-long session which is the final on track action until qualifying at 10:20 a.m. local time on Saturday morning.
