The entry list for the Pirelli World Challenge continues to grow, with news of the possibility of two more European-based entries for the GT category.

Reiter Engineering announced Friday the addition of a third Lamborghini Gallardo FL2 GT3 for select rounds, beginning with this month’s season-opener in St. Pete.

Reigning South American GT3 champion Marcelo Hahn will also pilot the GT3 contender at Barber Motorsports Park, Road America and Toronto, alongside the German squad’s two full-season entries for Tomas Enge and Albert von Thun und Taxis.

Reiter could be joined be another top-level German effort as former FIA GT1 World Champions Vita4One has lodged an entry for a BMW Z4 GT3.

DTM ace and multiple-time FIA GT champion Michael Bartels is listed in the solo entry, although Bartel’s team has yet to confirm its program.

Vita4One lodged a last-minute entry for last month’s Bathurst 12 Hour but was forced to withdraw due to lack of funding.

With the addition of the third Lambo, it’s now expected as many as 51 cars could take part on the streets in the Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg, scheduled for March 28.
