Three leading Japanese teams have committed cars to the upcoming Blancpain GT Series Asia events at Suzuka and Fuji.

D’Station Racing, Porsche Team EBI and Kizashi x Saccess Racing will all return to the series after previously making appearances in the Japanese rounds last year.

Super GT and Super Taikyu squad D’Station has entered a Porsche 911 GT3 R with Satoshi Hoshino and Seiji Ara listed as drivers.

Team EBI has also confirmed plans to run a Porsche GT3, with Naoya Yamano and three-time Super GT GT300 champion Tetsuya Yamano behind the wheel.

The final entry comes from Kizashi x Saccess Racing which will run a Lamborghini Huracan GT3 for Tamotsu Kondo and Naoki Yokomizo.

The outfit currently competes in the Car Guy Super Car Race series and FIA Formula 4 Championship.

The news comes after the series has increased interest from Japan in its second season with Japanese-based teams such as ARN Racing and BMW Team Studie joining the ranks.

D’Station will be joined by several full-season Blancpain GT Series Asia teams in competing at the inaugural Suzuka 10 Hours in August.

The Suzuka rounds of the regional series on June 30 – July 1 will therefore give unfamiliar teams a chance to experience the Pirelli P-Zero DHD2 tire and SRO Motorsports Group’s Balance of Performance ahead of the Intercontinental GT Challenge race.
