Bentley will run three cars in next month’s Total 24 Hours of Spa, with an additional entry confirmed on Wednesday to be run by Bentley Team Abt.

Nico Verdonck, Christer Joens and Jordan Pepper will share the Abt-entered Bentley Continental GT3, alongside the two full-season M-Sport cars.

It will be Team Abt’s first attempt at the infamous Belgian endurance race although Bentley Director of Motorsport Brian Gush is confident for all three entries.

“We have three Continental GT3s all capable of getting a great result,” he said. “That’s a good position to be in going into one of the most important races in the GT3 world.

“After losing the win last year, Bentley Motorsport has something to prove and we return to Spa with real determination.

“We will take forward what we have learned and share knowledge and experience between our teams.”

The British manufacturer heads to Spa coming off its first Blancpain GT Series Endurance Cup victory in three years at Paul Ricard last weekend.

The No. 8 car which won the six-hour race in southern France will be driven by Maxime Soulet, Andy Soucek and Vince Abril, while the sister M-Sport entry has Steven Kane, Guy Smith and Oliver Jarvis.
