DragonSpeed has confirmed the remainder of its driver lineup for the Blancpain Endurance Series season, as well as the Total 24 Hours of Spa, which will see some extra star power join the Florida-based team on its European tour.

Ryan Dalziel and Anthony Lazzaro will join full-season drivers Elton Julian and Henrik Hedman in the team’s Pro-Am class Ferrari 458 Italia GT3 for the twice-around-the-clock Belgian endurance classic.

Meanwhile, Bronze-rated driver Thomas Kemenater has been named the third driver for the four regular-season rounds at Monza, Silverstone, Paul Ricard and Nürburgring.

Dalziel, who competed against Julian’s squad in Pirelli World Challenge last year, will make his team and race debut, although having previous experience of the Belgian circuit from his time in the FIA World Endurance Championship.

“I’ve known Elton for a few years now, as both driver and team owner, and been really impressed with how he’s built DragonSpeed into a serious GT team in such a short time,” Dalziel said. “I’m proud to join their Spa 24 lineup for what I know will be a competitive effort with a well-prepared Ferrari.”

Ferrari expert Lazzaro will be making his Spa debut, although the Silver-rated driver feels like he’ll be able to quickly adapt to the surroundings. He also competed in PWC last year, claiming two wins in a R. Ferri Motorsport Ferrari.

“Although I’ll be new to the track, I’ll be right at home in the 458 GT3,” Lazzaro said. “It’s a proven winner at Spa, especially in the Pro-Am category.”

DragonSpeed will become the first U.S.-based team to compete in the five-round Blancpain Endurance Series, and will operate out of a base in Switzerland.

“I couldn’t be prouder of the group of drivers we’ve assembled for our BES program,” team owner/driver Julian said. “I know all the guys at varying levels, but well enough to know that they all possess the right skills and temperament for endurance racing.

“The lineup reflects all the advantages of the SRO system and gives Henrik what he needs to take the next steps in his learning process.

“Thanks to Henrik’s active involvement and support, we have the rest of the resources we need as well: the right car, our best crew ever, and a terrific location. I’m so grateful for his help in expanding DragonSpeed’s horizons.”
