I.S.R. Racing has signed Frédéric Vervisch to drive one of the two Audi R8 LMS ultras it will enter in the Blancpain Endurance Series this season.

The 28-year-old Belgian (Gold) joins Audi factory driver Marco Bonanomi (Platinum) and Filip Salaquarda (Silver), son of team owner Igor Salaquarda, who were already confirmed to race in the Sprint Series.

The capable trio will compete in the Pro Cup, while the Czech team has yet to confirm the lineup of its second car in the endurance races.

“Racing in a highly professional team was my first objective for 2015 and when Igor Salaquarda showed me I.S.R. Racing’s sporting program and the team’s working method I realized what my future would [look like],” said Vervisch.

“Marco and Filip are two excellent team mates and the Audi R8 LMS ultra is a very competitive car; I am certain a successful season is ahead of us.”

Vervisch is a former German and Asian Formula 3 champion, and competed for the Belgian Boutsen Ginion squad the last couple of seasons, particularly showing his skills during the past two editions of the Baku World Challenge.

Bonanomi and Salaquarda will also race in the Sprint Series, with the second car in the hands of the Danish brothers Anders and Thomas Fjordbach.

The team is currently testing at the Slovakiaring.
