One week after Prosperia C. Abt Racing announced it will enter an Audi R8 LMS ultra in the Baku World Challenge, fellow ADAC GT Masters team Schütz Motorsport confirmed its participation in the Blancpain Sprint Series season finale.

The German team will compete with one of its Porsche 911 GT3-R in the streets of the Azerbaijani capital, adding another brand to the BSS grid.

“Our aim is perfection in motorsport at an affordable level, and the Blancpain Sprint Series is an interesting platform for us. We also want to gain valuable experience in preparation for 2015,” said Christan Schütz.

Schütz currently lies second in the ADAC GT Masters drivers’ standings with Jaap van Lagen.

The team has yet to confirm its driver lineup.
