Dinamic Motorsport topped the timesheets over the two-day pre-event test for the Total 24 Hours of Spa with a time set during Wednesday morning’s session.

Its best lap time of 2:18.833 not only made it the first team to drop below the 2:19 mark but the only team do so after 16 hours of running.

Andrea Rizzoli, Klaus Bachler and Zaid Ashkanani share the Italian team’s Porsche 911 GT3 R. They claimed victory in April’s Blancpain GT Series Endurance Cup opener at Monza on the team’s debut GT3 appearance.

The second quickest car of the test was the Ram Racing Mercedes-AMG GT3, entered in the Pro-Am Cup and shared by Tom Onslow-Cole, Christiaan Frankenhout, Remon Vos and Darren Burke.

SMP Racing led the way on the opening day with a best time of 2:19.137 posted by its AF Corse-run Ferrari 488 GT3, which was good enough to secure it third in the combined standings.

The quickest car in the final session, held from 1-6 p.m. local time on Wednesday, was a 2:19.316 from the No. 107 Bentley Team M-Sport Continental GT3.

The BMW M6 GT3s of Walkenhorst Motorsport and Boutsen Ginion placed fourth and fifth in the combined standings, with the latter’s lap time coming from Philipp Eng, who isn’t slated to race.

The final session was ended 15 minutes early after a red flag period, as lengthy repairs would have been necessary for a restart.

The day’s running was halted on several occasions once again with off-track excursions for a number of cars.
