Stef Dusseldorp will continue to drive for Rowe Racing in the Blancpain GT Series, after extending his contract with the German squad.

The Dutchman will drive the team’s new BMW M6 GT3 in the Blancpain Endurance and Sprint Cups, marking his return to SRO’s Sprint series after a one-year absence.

“Im happy to stay with Rowe Racing for a second season and join the BMW Motorsport family. Last year Rowe Racing made a great debut in the Blancpain Series and this year we will try to improve the result,” said Dusseldorp.

“With the strong package we have and the expansion to the Sprint Series we can now fight for the overall championship!”

Rowe team principal Hans-Peter Naundorf was delighted to confirm Dusseldorp as the third driver signed by the team for the 2016 season.

“To be able to continue with Stef for the coming season means a lot to me and the team,” he said.

“We developed a very good relationship with Stef last year and he showed outstanding performances in all the events. He will strengthen our driver lineup definitely for the Sprint and the Endurance races.”

Dusseldorp will join Eng and Sims, with whom he raced together at Hexis Racing in 2013, at the official test days at Circuit Paul Ricard this week.
