Giancarlo Fisichella set the pace in the Free Practice session for the Blancpain GT Series Endurance Cup round at Silverstone on Saturday morning.

The AF Corse driver’s best lap was a 1:59.767 around the British circuit, in the No. 53 Ferrari 488 GT3 he shares with Lorenzo Bontempelli and Ishikawa Motoaki.

The top three finishers were all running in the Pro-Am Cup, with the No. 74 ISR Audi R8 LMS in second, and Barwell Motorsport’s No. 78 Lamborghini Huracán GT3 in third.

The first of the Pro class finishers was the fourth-placed No. 2 Audi of Belgian Audi Club Team WRT, driven by Stuart Leonard, Michael Meadows and Robin Frijns.

Laurens Vanthoor put another WRT car into fifth, as his No. 1 Audi lapped just 0.071 seconds behind Frijns.

Patric Niederhauser set a fast lap in the closing stages of the session to move the No. 101 Attempto Racing Huracán into sixth, while the No. 16 GRT Grasser Racing Team Lamborghini finished seventh.

The fastest car in the Am Cup was the Ferrari 458 Italia GT3 of Kessel Racing, running 30th overall, driven by David Perel, Bernhard Delhez and Stephen Earle.

They finished ahead of Team Parker Racing, second in class.

Max Koebolt, Giorgio Roda and Stefano Colombo topped the Bronze Test, which took place before the Free Practice Session. Koebolt set a 2:01.599 in the BMW M6 GT3 of BMW Team Italia.

Pre-Qualifying starts at 4:30 p.m. local time.
