HTP Motorsport Set For Return to Mercedes

HTP Motorsport is set to return to Mercedes this season, following a successful year with Bentley in the Blancpain GT Series.

The German squad is expected to run the all-new Mercedes-AMG GT3 in various international GT championships, after ending its cooperation with Bentley after just one season.

Two images of the Mercedes-AMG GT3 in HTP Motorsport colors surfaced on Facebook this weekend, both showing the Mercedes in a completely new black and white livery.

When contacted for comment earlier today, HTP Motorsport said discussions are still ongoing and a formal announcement regarding its 2016 program is expected by next week.

In December team principal Norbert Brückner already confirmed that HTP Motorsport would focus on GT racing in 2016.
