The Blancpain GT Series Endurance Cup heads to Silverstone this weekend with an entry list almost identical to that from the season opener at Monza four weeks earlier.

Forty-eight cars will take to the Northamptonshire circuit for a three-hour race on Sunday afternoon, while two days of pre-event testing will also be available on Thursday and Friday.

The only major change to the field is the withdrawal of Antonelli Motorsport’s Mercedes-AMG GT3 which was driven by Davide Roda, Giuseppe Cipriani and Marco Antonelli at Monza.

The Am Cup car won’t be present for the second round of the season, and it’s unclear if the Italian team intends to return after Silverstone.

TCR regular Denis Dupont joins Ombra Racing, replacing Romain Monti alongside Dean Stoneman and Stefano Gattuso in the team’s No. 12 Lamborghini Huracan GT3 Evo.

There is still a TBA slot at Sainteloc Racing in its No. 26 Audi R8 LMS GT3 Evo for a third driver to join Markus Winkelhock and Fabien Michel, filling the seat of Pierre Yves Paque.

Chris Harris returns to Garage 59’s Am Cup Aston Martin Vantage GT3 after being absent at Monza.

Four hours of paid testing will take place on Thursday and Friday ahead of the Bronze Test on Friday afternoon. Free Practice and Pre-Qualifying are scheduled for Saturday, with qualifying and the race on Sunday.
