R-Motorsport will enter the full Blancpain GT Series this year, having committed a pair of new-gen Aston Martin Vantage GT3s to both the sprint and Endurance series.

The Swiss team, which will run its program in addition to its new DTM venture, has also added a third car for the Total 24 Hours of Spa.

It debuted in the Blancpain GT Series Endurance Cup last season, running a pair of previous-gen Aston Martins, and won the Silverstone race in May.

Maxime Martin, Jake Dennis, Marvin Kirchhoefer and Matthieu Vaxiviere all return to the team, while Aston Martin factory driver Alex Lynn is amongst the new drivers.

Ricky Collard, Matt Parry, Ferdinand Habsburg, Hugo de Sadeleer and Aaro Vainio complete the lineup.

Lynn will join Dennis and Kirchhoefer in one car for the Endurance Cup, while Martin, Vaxiviere and Parry will share the second car, both running in the Pro class.

Kirchhoefer is paired with Collard in a Pro entry for the Blancpain GT World Challenge Europe sprint rounds, while de Sadeleer and Vainio will share a Silver Cup entry.

Both full-season Endurance Cup trios will be present at Spa, but they’ll be joined by a third car for Collard, de Sadeleer and new R-Motorsport DTM signing Habsburg.

“We’re lining up with our team in the endurance and sprint cup for the first time ever and have a broad base of drivers to call on, made up of well-proven and successful individuals from last year as well as interesting, talented newcomers, especially Marvin, who will compete for the overall championship in both series,” said team principal Dr. Florian Kamelger.

“The guys are all hungry for success and have a promising car in the new Aston Martin Vantage V8 GT3, with which we intend to fight for wins and the title with the full backing of the entire team.”
