Ram Racing’s Darren Burke set the quickest time in the Bronze Test for the Total 24 Hours of Spa on Tuesday afternoon, leading a Mercedes-AMG 1-2.

Burke posted a best time of 2:21.403 in the No. 49 Mercedes-AMG GT3 which he shares with Salih Yoluc, Euan Hankey and Felix Rosenqvist.

The time was good enough to put him 0.524 seconds clear at the top of the timesheets, ahead of Kenny Habul’s Sun Energy 1 Team HTP Motorsport entry.

The three-hour session was open to all Bronze drivers in the field as well as any Silver-rated pilots who have not previously contested the race.

Rinat Salikhov was third in the No. 333 Rinaldi Racing Ferrari 488 GT3 while Nick Leventis’ Strakka Racing Mercedes was classified fourth.

The top five positions were held by Pro-Am competitors while Target Racing was the best-placed Am Cup car in sixth.

Stefano Constantini set the best time in the No. 9 Target Lamborghini Huracan GT3, 1.581 seconds down on Burke.

The session was contested by 25 of the 63 cars present, with most Pro-Am, Am and Group National entries taking to the track as well as Aust Motorsport’s Silver Cup entry

Track action gets back underway on Thursday with Free Practice 1, open to all drivers, at 11:45 a.m. local time.
