The GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup season will finish with an evening race at the Nürburgring, organizer SRO Motorsports Group has revealed.

The Endurance Cup’s return to the Nürburgring will now take place on Sept. 4-5 instead of the originally planned three-day weekend of Sept. 4-6, with the three-hour race scheduled for Saturday evening.

It will get underway at 6:45 p.m. running until 9:45 p.m. and through sunset, which is set for around 8 p.m.

The remainder of the Endurance Cup schedule will take place as usual, with afternoon three-hour races at Monza and Silverstone, with an expected but not yet confirmed 3 p.m. start, an evening six-hour race at Circuit Paul Ricard, and the Total 24 Hours of Spa.

No changes to the schedule have been made since it was announced at Spa last year, meaning Zandvoort will stay despite concerns about the track’s availability amid its new Formula 1 race.

As previously announced, the five Sprint Cup races will run to a new format with qualifying for each race taking place on the same day as the race, but SRO has now confirmed that all races will begin at 2 p.m. local time, with one on Saturday and one on Sunday.

The exception is Brands Hatch, which will run to a reduced two-day schedule and is therefore expected to have both races on Sunday as in previous years.
