Team Parker Racing topped the timesheets in the opening day of the Blancpain GT Series pre-season test at Circuit Paul Ricard.

The British outfit’s No. 30 Bentley Continental GT3 was quickest in both sessions on Tuesday with Callum Macleod and Ian Loggie driving.

It is one of several non-Blancpain GT entries at the test but rather one of the team’s British GT Championship entries.

Neither driver is expected to compete in the Blancpain GT season.

Its fastest lap was a 1:52.454 posted during the afternoon session, almost seven-tenths quicker than the car’s session-topping time in the four-hour morning session.

As a customer squad, Team Parker is running first-generation Bentleys as opposed to the new-for-2018 model campaigned by Bentley Team M-Sport.

The factory team has only brought one car to the test and has completed few laps today, with its best lap over one second off the pace.

Attempto Racing was the second-fastest team with its No. 66 Audi R8 LMS GT3 driven by Pieter Schothorst, Steijn Schothorst and Nicolas Pohler going 0.402 seconds slower than the Bentley.

Team Parker also topped the Silver Cup class with its Blancpain GT-entered Bentley driven by Seb Morris, while Team Lazarus was quickest in Pro-Am and Spirit of Race at the top of the Am field.

Wednesday’s running will get underway at 9 a.m. local time.
