The No. 1 Belgian Audi Club Team WRT Audi R8 LMS topped the opening four-hour session of the Blancpain GT Series test at Paul Ricard.

Dries Vanthoor posted a 1:57.330 in the car he shares with his brother Laurens and Frédéric Vervisch, 0.075 clear of the No. 99 ROWE Racing BMW M6 GT3.

Black Falcon (Mercedes) and Barwell Motorsport (Lamborghini) made it four different brands in the top four.

The Monlau Competicion-run Renault RS01 ended the session seventh, 0.304 slower than the pacesetting Audi.

Forty seven of the 51 cars that have been entered posted a time, with the top-18 separated by less than a second.

The session was not interrupted.
