Klenin Confirms Return With McLaren GT4

Klenin Performance Racing has confirmed a return to Pirelli GT4 America competition, with Mark Klenin set to continue in Sprint competition with its McLaren 570S GT4.

It marks the team’s eighth season in GT4 America and the third consecutive with the British-built mid-engined sports car.

Klenin will again compete for GT4 Am honors in the 50-minute single-driver races, which kicks off at St. Pete next month.

“We look forward to the increased level of customer support from McLaren for the customer racing teams in the U.S.,” Klenin said. ‘A fully committed manufacturer is always a key to long term success in a series and I believe we now have that.”

The team ramped up its program last year with the addition of a data engineer and driver coach at each event, helping contribute to class wins at Lime Rock, Canadian Tire Motorsport Park and Road America.
