Class champions in Pirelli GT4 America SprintX will be crowned at Indianapolis Motor Speedway with a pair of title-deciding races to be held later this week.

A total of 23 SprintX entries are entered for the final two rounds of the season, with two of the three championships still up for grabs.

Nolasport’s Jason Hart and Matt Travis head into the event with a narrow two-point lead in the Pro-Am championship over the Flying Lizard Motorsports duo of Robby Foley and Michael Dinan, who wrapped up the GT4 Sprint Am title last time out at Circuit of The Americas.

The gap in the battle for Silver class honors is even closer, with Jarett Andretti and Colin Mullan holding a two-point lead on ST Racing’s Nick Wittmer and Harry Gottsacker.

Am class honors, meanwhile, have already gone to the Nolasport duo of Sean Gibbons and Zac Anderson, who hold an insurmountable lead over the TRG pairing of Derek DeBoer and James Rappaport entering the two 60-minute races.

Among the notable changes to the entry list since the most recent round at COTA include the addition of a second MarcoPolo Motorsports KTM X-Bow GT4, for the Bronze-rated pairing of Dieter-Heinz Kijora and Vincent Piemonte.

Both titles in GT4 Sprint, meanwhile, have been locked up entering Indianapolis.

Michael Cooper clinched his fourth SRO America championship at COTA, while Dinan wrapped up the Am class title following dominant seasons for both drivers.

The Sprint entry list, meanwhile, features 13 entries for the two 50-minute races.

Track action kicks off on Wednesday with a pair of practice sessions, with races in both series scheduled for Thursday and Friday as part of the Indianapolis 8 Hour weekend that includes the season finale for GT World Challenge America powered by AWS.

TC America competitors will also be in action over the weekend that features a pair of NTT IndyCar Series races.
