Jesse Webb and Kenton Koch will each start from pole for this weekend’s pair of Pirelli GT4 America races at NOLA Motorsports Park.

Webb ended up quickest in Q1 in his No. 34 Conquest Racing/JMF Motorsports Mercedes-AMG GT4, thanks to a 1:42.794 lap time.

It was 0.243 seconds clear of the No. 51 Auto Technic Racing BMW M4 GT4 of Zac Anderson, with the No. 74 Copeland Motorsports Toyota GR Supra GT4 EVO of Tyler Maxson claiming the Pro-Am class pole after rebounding from electrical issues earlier in the weekend.

GT4 America rookie Webb also scored pole in Race 1 at Sonoma Raceway earlier this month.

Friday’s pace-setting No. 92 Random Vandals Racing BMW of Kevin Boehm and the No. 88 STR38 Motorsports BMW driven by Harry Gottsacker completed the top-five overall in NOLA Q1.

The session saw a brief red flag for debris at the start of the 15-minute session, while Charlie Postins was able to bring his No. 36 BimmerWorld BMW back to the pits after an a spin and contact with the barriers with three minutes to go.

Koch, meanwhile, was quickest overall between the two sessions with a 1:41.866 lap in his No. 92 Random Vandals BMW, outpacing the No. 999 Hanley Motorsports Toyota GR Supra GT4 EVO of Parker Thompson by 0.437 seconds.

Kay van Berlo was third quickest and best of the Pro-Am class runners in the No. 7 ACI Motorsports Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS Clubsport, followed by the Am class pole-sitting No. 20 Carrus Callas Raceteam Toyota of Terry Borcheller in fourth.

Michael Stephens put the Race 1 pole-sitting No. 34 Conquest/JMF Mercedes fifth overall for Race 2.

Race 1 is scheduled to get underway at 5 p.m. CT with live coverage on SRO’s GT World YouTube page.
